About the Role
The CSR consulting team at Give Grants is a trusted advisor for clients in their giving journey. Our service offerings include strategy and program design, partner identification, KPI design, on-ground monitoring and evaluation, and overall impact portfolio management. We also support clients in effectively using our CSR management tech platform.
This role will require you to take complete ownership of all client engagements as well as the team members in the CSR consulting team. You will be a part of the leadership group at Give Grants with a strong influence on future strategy and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality, well-researched data-backed delivery of insights and inputs to clients across all projects.
- Be a trusted advisor to senior decision makers and lead executive presentations.
- Drive creation and application of relevant frameworks and methodologies.
Own Client Relationships, Drive Growth
- Manage senior relationships and be recognized as an expert advisor.
- Own revenue growth for existing accounts via deal expansion and cross-sells.
Innovate on Service Offerings
- Constantly evolve the service offerings based on market feedback.
- Expand the bouquet of offerings to address white spaces in the market.
Help Position Give Grants as a CSR Thought Leader
- Drive continuous learning within the team to build their depth of knowledge.
- Actively create/en enabling thought leadership content and market presence via events, speaker opportunities, research reports, webinars, and more.
Financial Management for the CSR Consulting Practice
- Ensure margins are maintained while growing revenue.
- Review and influence delivery effort utilization and therefore gross margins for the practice.

Excellence in Your Academic and Professional Career
- Graduation/Post-graduation from top-tier institutes. An academic background in sociology/social work/economics/development studies/other allied streams will be a positive but is not essential.
- High growth in your professional career at reputed organizations.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 15 years overall with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Past experience in business consulting/impact consulting would be a strong positive.
- Past experience with CSR or institutional philanthropy will be a strong positive.
- Experience of working in nonprofits/govt agencies and social enterprises is relevant, especially if it involved managing multiple projects, large teams, and a large number of stakeholders.
- Project management/program management experience is essential.
Depth of Knowledge within the CSR and Social Impact Space
- Depth of expertise within your chosen domain, e.g., healthcare, education, climate action, etc.
- Past experience with program design, impact measurement, program execution would be a strong positive.
- High comfort with CSR-specific laws, regulations, and norms.
A Positive Attitude That Is Comfortable with Ambiguity and Risk
- Past experience with small teams, startups, fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to take risks and experiment with new products and strategies.
- High standards of ethics and governance backed with practical knowledge and experience.
Hard Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
- Data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Comfort with tech tools and products for use within the CSR space.
- Advanced communication skills, verbal and written.
