As a seasoned cloud expert, you will optimize our multi-cloud infrastructure to minimize costs and ensure seamless operations. This involves proactively monitoring AWS, Azure, and GCP resources to identify opportunities for cost savings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cost Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to reduce infrastructure spend across all three cloud platforms.
  • Automation and Scripting: Create and maintain scripts to automate cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering and product teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources.
  • Reserved Instances and Savings Plans: Identify and implement reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to minimize waste.
  • SRE/DevOps Practices: Contribute to the development of robust SRE/DevOps practices by ensuring infrastructure reliability while balancing costs.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP services (EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Cost Monitoring and Optimization: Experience in cloud cost monitoring and optimization techniques.
  • Programming Language Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).
  • SRE Concepts: Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
  • Cost Analysis: Prior experience in cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads.
