Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data ingestion, transformation, and governance frameworks.

This role will play a pivotal part in enabling real-time and batch data analytics across our data platform by implementing scalable, robust, and secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data, utilizing various cloud-based technologies including AWS Glue, S3, Redshift or GCP BigQuery, Dataflow as needed.
  • Implement Change Data Capture (CDC), streaming pipelines, and batch ingestion to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of data cataloguing, profiling, and classification tools, while ensuring alignment with data governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, observability tools, and monitoring dashboards to optimize performance and cost across data workloads and cloud environments.
  • Establish and enforce data rules, validations, anomaly detection, and reconciliation to maintain data integrity.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, encryption, and tokenization to ensure data security.
