Sourcing Excellence Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Excellence Manager to drive the development and implementation of our new product strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainable materials, innovative sourcing practices, and vendor negotiation.

  • Identify global fashion trends and innovations to bring fresh products to our portfolio.
  • Analyze sales data to optimize styles and ensure a consistent flow of bestsellers.
  • Manage the sampling cycle against set timelines for shoots and production readiness.
  • Research and implement textile technologies that reduce environmental impact.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 6-8 years of experience in fashion with expertise in sustainable fabrics, certifications (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, Fair Trade), and eco-friendly sourcing practices.
  • Strong understanding of stitching techniques, fabric printing, dyeing, and associated processes.
  • Degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or Sourcing (NIFT or equivalent).

Beyond the standard responsibilities, this role offers opportunities to:

  • Drive cost optimization while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end sourcing cycles – from vendor identification to product delivery.
  • Establish KPIs for vendor performance (quality, timeliness, compliance) and regular reviews.
  • Enhance the current portfolio through improvements in product quality, features, sourcing, costs, and MOQ efficiencies.
  • Analyze sales data for entire portfolios to monitor stock movement for re-ordering bestsellers.
  • Demand planning and channel-wise allocation for production orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Owning challenges, demonstrating solution-oriented mindsets, and delivering results under pressure.
