Transformative Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer who can design, develop, and implement automated infrastructure solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Chef. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and be well-versed in DevOps practices.

The successful candidate will:

  • Design and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS services
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and Chef cookbooks to automate IaC-related tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and in-house build tools
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the automation process

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in cloud environments
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and Chef, as well as AWS services such as EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda, VPC, and SSM Documents
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
