Senior Automation Specialist

A senior-level Automation Specialist is sought to develop and implement automated systems, processes and solutions that will drive efficiency and productivity.
">Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Designing and implementing scalable automation models
- Developing event-driven architectures and PubSub models
- Establishing and extrapolating Ontological/Semantic standards
- Implementing Observability Pipelines
- Monitoring and ing: Establish monitoring systems and tools to detect anomalies and performance issues in real-time
- Metric & Instrumentation Standards: Defining common metric standards for every stage of the Application Lifecycle process and Instrumentation standards and scripting including OTel standards alignment
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Analyze telemetry data (logs, metrics, traces) to gain insights into system behavior and identify trends
- Incident Response: Investigate and troubleshoot incidents, using observability data to understand the root cause and implement solutions
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development, SRE, and other teams to ensure observability practices are integrated into workflows and to share insights
- Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest trends in observability, logging, monitoring, and cloud technologies
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation for observability systems and processes and share knowledge with other teams
Technical Requirements:
- Eight or more years of experience in automation specialists
- Professional certification
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and proficiency in observability tools
- Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, NLP, Python, Java, automation tools, testing frameworks, Full stack observability with Splunk, Datadog, Infra monitoring, App onboarding and APM, Scripting and automation, Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in insurance domain
- Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes
