As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software reliability, scalability, and performance across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and relevant frameworks for web and backend applications.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.

- Identify and report bugs and technical issues, working closely with developers to ensure resolution.

- Enhance existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve test scripts and automation practices.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to ensure continuous integration and deployment.

- Generate detailed test reports and provide insights to stakeholders on application quality and stability.

- Work with RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution of defects.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in QA automation and software testing.
