Innovation Technology Patent Strategist

The Key Responsibilities of this position include:
- Drafting Patent Applications for inventions in the field of Information and Communication Technologies.
- Delivering prosecution projects, including formulating response strategies for office actions along with complete draft responses to office actions.
- Drafting provisional specifications and patent applications, including well-crafted claim sets that conform to US and EP patent legal and procedural standards.
- Providing training to team members on multiple technical areas.
- Mentoring team members and interns on assigned technology areas and providing direction and guidance to team members for drafting and/or prosecution work.
- Applying process knowledge to produce consistent, high-quality results in assigned tasks.
- Performing multiple tasks and working independently on assigned projects, including creating and supporting processes for client deliverables, process customization, talent development etc.
- Performing root cause analysis to identify issues, inculcating best practices, and providing recommendations to enhance team's performance and improve productivity.
- Utilizing available tools to analyze and solve problems.
- Participating in the hiring process, preparing test papers, evaluating, and interviewing candidates.
- Leading team members in specialized technical assignments and projects requiring a high-level of proficiency and competency.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a reputable institute.
- Excellent domain knowledge in ICT field (Information and Communication Technologies).
- Four+ years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution with at least two years of experience in patent drafting for US jurisdiction.
Experience and Skills Required
There is an expectation of having drafted 50+ patent applications for US domain.
