Job Description:

  As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the security operations of a large-sized site or plant. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of security personnel to ensure the safety and security of the site, its employees, and assets.

  Key responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives aligned to business requirements, conducting timely reviews of all on-going strategic initiatives, and participating in governance council meetings to suggest improvements and discuss pressing issues with key stakeholders.

  Additionally, you will be responsible for cultivating reliable sources of information with key decision makers in administrative bodies, police, local community, and media to gather intelligence. You will also analyze daily local, national, and international news that might impact the organization or the site, and develop mitigation plans to counter potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  Furthermore, you will conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation measures in consultation with the Vertical Security Head. You will also facilitate internal and third-party security audits and conduct timely checks to ensure the reliability of the security management system.

  In times of crisis or emergency, you will design response plans to ensure business continuity and quick business recovery at the site. You will also supervise the efficient selection and training of staff for QRT (Quick Reaction Team) and re vamp the response plans basis key learnings from incidents.

  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, including access control, traffic management, surveillance, and systems management. They will also have experience managing operational and capital expenditure budgets with exceptional planning and project management skills.

  Moreover, they should have up-to-date knowledge and experience with regulatory compliance issues across varied security sub-domains, as well as robust understanding of investigation techniques and audit procedures.
