Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stone Crusher Manager to lead and optimize operations at our stone crushing facility. This position demands robust knowledge of crusher operations, maintenance oversight, production planning, team leadership, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight
Manage day-to-day crusher plant operations, including production monitoring, output quality, and adherence to targets. Collaborate with mining teams to maintain smooth production flows. - Maintenance & Plant Uptime
Oversee preventive maintenance, schedule repairs, troubleshoot equipment failures, and coordinate to minimize downtime. - Production & Resource Planning
Plan and optimize production runs, ensuring efficient use of manpower, materials, and machinery. - Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead and motivate the operations team, facilitating smooth coordination between site labor, maintenance crews, and technical staff. - Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, dispatch reports, and deliver periodic performance updates to senior management. - Quality, Safety & Environmental Compliance
Enforce safety protocols; ensure workplace and environmental compliance. Implement audits and promote safe operations across the team. - Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Liaise with vendors, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to align operational goals and resolve issues proactively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience in stone crushing, quarry, or mining operations, including supervisory roles.
- Strong technical understanding of stone crusher machinery (jaw, cone, VSI), including mechanics, operation parameters, and process flow.
- Proficient in preventive maintenance methodologies and plant machinery best practices.
- Excellent capability in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to build and manage high-performing operations teams.
- Competent in safety and environmental compliance familiarity with regulatory norms specific to quarrying and crushing.
- Strong reporting, record-keeping, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to act decisively under pressure.
