Demand Forecasting Product Manager

Job Overview

As a key player in shaping our Demand and Forecasting product engine, you will collaborate with a talented team to define the product roadmap, manage the product lifecycle, and represent our forecasting capabilities both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the strategic direction of our forecasting capabilities, working closely with product leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs.
• Work effectively with development, implementation, training, sales, and support teams to ensure product success.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer requirements.
• Develop and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging.
• Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in building or leveraging forecasting models and/or utilizing data platforms for forecasting applications.
• Experience in understanding the science behind Demand Forecasting.
• Interest in learning and developing new functional and technical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
• Working knowledge of product development architecture.
• Working knowledge of data model and using SQL.
• Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Project planning and management.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate well with co-workers.
• Experience with Atlassian suite of products a plus.
• Experience in Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Management for Distributors, Retailers and/or Manufacturers – past management of Demand Planning, Replenishment, S&OP and/or Supply Planning a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ yrs of experience and 3+yrs of Product Management and/or Supply Chain Software Implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, industrial engineering, computer science, or similar (Masters a plus).
