ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Demand Planning Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of demand and forecasting product engines. You will collaborate with a talented team to define the product roadmap, manage the product lifecycle, and represent forecasting capabilities both internally and externally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive strategic direction for forecasting capabilities, working closely with product leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Work effectively with development, implementation, training, sales, and support teams to ensure product success.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer requirements.
  • Develop and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging.
  • Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
EXPERIENCE
  • Mandatory experience building or leveraging forecasting models and/or utilizing data platforms for forecasting applications.
  • Experience in understanding the science behind demand forecasting.
  • Interest in learning and developing new functional and technical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
  • Working knowledge of product development architecture.
  • Working knowledge of data models and using SQL.
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Project planning and management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with coworkers.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite of products a plus.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Management for Distributors, Retailers, and/or Manufacturers – past management of Demand Planning, Replenishment, S&OP, and/or Supply Planning a plus.

SOFT SKILLS

Excellent communication and flexible attitude required, should be able to technically lead product team being fully hands-on.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5+ years of experience and 3+ years of Product Management and/or Supply Chain Software Implementation experience.

EDUCATION

Preferable having Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, industrial engineering, computer science, or similar (Masters a plus).
