Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to undertake the assessment and design of bridges, leveraging experience in Steel Composite and Pretension/Posttension structures.

The successful candidate will carry out feasibility studies for strengthening and repair, ensuring compliance with appropriate design and health and safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare new bridge designs and strengthening designs to UK standards, adhering to strict guidelines.
  • Carry out design and assessment checks under the guidance of a Senior or Principal Engineer.
  • Compile drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence within given deadlines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project briefs.
  • Follow QA, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines on all work.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and self-motivated. Mandatory Skills: Bridge Design, Eurocodes, UK CEng.
