Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer Job Opportunity

The Responsible Mica Initiative is a global coalition that aims to establish a fair, responsible, and sustainable mica supply chain in India and Madagascar.

This role will support the growth of our activities in India and strengthen our support to upstream supply chain actors located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh in their journey towards sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish gap assessments of mica processors and mines versus our Global Workplace Standard
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans effectively
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocols for members
  • Develop training content for auditors on our standards and conduct online or face-to-face training sessions

The successful candidate will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and work closely with our governance bodies, executive team, members, and partners.

Requirements:
  • Masters degree in International Development, Business, Engineering/Mining, or Social Auditing
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain social and environmental auditing
  • Good knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations, Industrial EHS requirements, Quality, and Production systems
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating training sessions

The ideal candidate will have strong social and environmental auditing background, excellent coordination, monitoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work proactively and independently.
