About this role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating data warehouses and data platforms.

  • 5-8 years of experience in Python programming
  • Proven track record with 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or experience working on data engineering projects/platforms
  • Working experience with data pipelines & methodologies
  • Good knowledge & experience in distributed computing frameworks like Spark
  • Good experience with source code management systems like GIT
  • Capable of tuning databases, and SQL queries to meet performance objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering or equivalent technical background and experience

You will work closely with the data engineering team to design, develop, and operate data warehouses and data platforms. You will also be responsible for providing operational support for the post-production deployment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud providers like AWS, containerization, and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes. They will also have experience with data warehouses & ETL tools, and be capable of debugging sophisticated issues across various ETL platforms, and databases.
