API Platform Tech Lead

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled API Platform Tech Lead to spearhead our API team. This role demands expertise in Azure services and advanced skills in Terraform and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior role in Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure services including AKS, APIM, Application Gateway, Front Door, Load Balancers, Azure SQL, Event Hub, Application Insights, ACR, Key Vault, VNet, Prometheus, Grafana, Storage Account, Monitoring, Notification Hub, VMs, DNS, and more.
  • Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex Terraform modules for Azure and Kubernetes environments, incorporating providers such as azurerm, azapi, kubernetes, and helm.
  • Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (AKS) with a deep understanding of Helm chart writing, Helm deployments, and AKS addons, application troubleshooting, monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana, GitOps, and more.
  • Lead application troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensure high availability and resilience of APIs deployed in AKS and exposed internally and externally through APIM.
  • Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies using GitOps and APIOps practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership skills to deliver platform requirements efficiently.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform are preferred.
