Capital Cost Estimator Role

As a skilled capital cost estimator, you will play a key role in our company's success by providing expert advice on building economics and tendering procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide comprehensive capital cost estimates to inform business decisions.
  • Draft contract packages and pricing documents for tender submissions, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance on tendering procedures and develop tender evaluation criteria to support informed decision-making.
  • Conduct commercial evaluations of all tender submissions and negotiate with tenderers to secure the best outcomes.
  • Assess and determine claim amounts, and prepare monthly Cost Reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Chartered QS under a recognized organization or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree with 5-10 years' experience.
  • Strong understanding of QS & cost management processes, IT literacy, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work rapidly and accurately under pressure.
  • Capacity to coordinate with other staff and departments across global offices and work independently with attention to detail.
