Senior Legal Advisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a vital role in providing expert legal guidance to clients and guiding junior colleagues in drafting contracts and agreements.

About the Role
  1. Client Interaction and Briefing:
  • You will engage with clients to understand their needs and gather detailed briefs for contract drafting.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on legal matters, risks, and best practices for contracts.
Drafting Supervision:
  • Direct and guide junior colleagues in drafting various types of contracts and agreements based on client briefs.
  • Develop clear frameworks to ensure accuracy and relevance of drafts.
Quality Control:
  • Review and QC contracts drafted by junior colleagues for compliance, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Training and Development:
  • Train junior colleagues on effective drafting techniques, legal language, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular workshops or mentoring sessions to improve the team's drafting skills and efficiency.
Process Optimization:
  • Develop and refine internal workflows for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts to improve turnaround time.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards and guidelines for contract drafting.
Legal Research:
  • Stay up-to-date with legal updates and industry trends to ensure compliance and provide added value to clients.
Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Collaborate with the legal team and management to streamline processes and resolve complex client requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on client projects and team performance to the reporting manager.
