Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Associate to drive client acquisition in the US financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for outbound prospecting, managing a sales pipeline, and nurturing leads to offer services such as accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and taxation.

About the Role:

  • The role requires 3-6 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role within the financial services sector.
  • Expertise in client prospecting, lead generation, and sales pipeline management for professional services is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers by leveraging financial expertise.
  • A dual focus on originating new client relationships and serving as a subject matter expert to close deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience in outbound prospecting, managing a sales pipeline, and providing initial financial consultations to potential clients.
  • Ability to understand and apply consultative sales methodologies to identify client needs and position financial services as a strategic advantage.
  • Broad existing experience across various industries to immediately understand a prospective client's financial context.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • An MBA in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Self-motivation and comfort with sales quota attainment, ongoing relationship management, and a can-do mentality required in an early-stage channel of the organization.
