**Remote COBOL Developer Job**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using COBOL. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-quality COBOL code for large-scale applications
- Work with the development team to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of backend systems with frontend applications
- Maintain and enhance existing COBOL-based systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing production-grade applications using COBOL
- Hands-on experience with JCL, CICS, and DB2
- Proven track record of leading multiple teams with at least 5 members
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with VSAM
- Good understanding of release pipeline and REXX tools
