Job Title: COBOL/AS400 Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced COBOL/AS400 developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, development, and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL/400, SQL/400, and CL programming languages.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing programs and queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/SAFe methodologies for software delivery.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of hands-on development experience in COBOL/400, SQL/400, and CL.
  • Working knowledge of IBM i Series (AS400) system architecture, commands, and environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DBU, SEQUEL, CA2E Implementor, ROBOT, etc.
Bonus Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments or BFSI domain is a plus.
