About the Role:

Our organization seeks a skilled IT professional to lead the development and maintenance of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements, implement data standards, and provide technical leadership to ensure seamless integration of the CMDB with other IT Service Management processes and tools.

The successful applicant will possess in-depth knowledge of ITIL processes, experience in CMDB development and administration, and excellent communication skills to conduct training sessions for end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs
  • Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team
  • Perform regular audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management processes and tools
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
