Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of a Zero-Touch Build, Upgrade, and Certification pipeline for our on-prem GPU cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automated Pipeline Development:
    • Design and implement a fully automated pipeline for building, upgrading, and certifying the Linux operating system layer in the GPU cloud stack.
    • Develop automation scripts using Ansible, Python, Packer, Kickstart, and OpenSCAP to manage Linux image builds, compliance hardening, and kernel module/driver automation.
  • Infrastructure Engineering:
    • Own and manage kernel module/driver automation, ensuring version compatibility and hardware enablement for GPU nodes.
    • Maintain GitOps-compliant infrastructure-as-code repositories, ensuring traceability and reproducibility of all automation logic.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship:
    • Collaborate with platform, SRE, and security teams to standardize image build and deployment practices across the stack.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategic automation roadmap initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need strong expertise in Linux infrastructure automation, programming languages such as Python and Ansible, and experience working with GitOps and DevOps tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Azure Certified Cloud Solution Architect can be beneficial in this role.
