Job Title: Linux Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Linux Server Administrator to join our team.

  • A minimum of 4–8 years of experience in server management and administration, with a strong focus on Linux.
  • Expertise in installing, maintaining, monitoring, and decommissioning both physical and virtual servers.
  • Strong understanding of Linux OS operations, including LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables.
  • Proficiency in hypervisor operations, such as XEN and VMware.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting server downtime issues and managing physical servers.
  • Working knowledge of at least one public cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools, like Chef, and scripting languages, such as Bash and Perl.

The ideal candidate will have strong Linux OS administration skills, knowledge of hypervisors, and exposure to cloud platforms and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and manage daily compute operations, ensuring alignment with ITIL processes.
  • Perform server lifecycle tasks, including installation, maintenance, monitoring, decommissioning, and special configurations.
  • Manage storage operations, handle packages and repositories, and execute patch management using BladeLogic Automation.
  • Configure and roll out server monitoring and alerts, conduct performance testing and analysis, and prepare documentation.
  • Support teams with complex technical tasks and ensure seamless integration of systems.
