Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As an experienced professional in managing large-scale infrastructure systems, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reliable and efficient systems that meet the needs of our organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to improve observability systems and ensure seamless deployment of applications
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform infrastructure decisions

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with managing large-scale infrastructure systems
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Good understanding of software delivery principles
  • Technical agility: Ability to adapt to different roles and technologies when needed

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of Linux, software-defined networking, and containerization
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native ecosystem and tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Envoy
