Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud security architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems.

This challenging role involves hardening infrastructure, managing access control, and monitoring security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Harden Linux/Windows environments to ensure the integrity of cloud-based systems.
  • Configure Active Directory and IAM policies to secure access control and authentication.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement security tools such as HashiCorp Vault and OWASP scanners to enhance system protection.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience with cloud security platforms, knowledge of security protocols and technologies, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to have a strong understanding of industry-leading security frameworks and regulations.

Requirements
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IAM, and logging tools is essential for this role.
  • Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar tools is required.
  • Understanding of AD and domain policies is necessary for configuring secure access control.
  • At least one security certification (e.g., Security+, CEH, AZ-500) is recommended.
