Responsibilities:

  • Review product and process specifications, ensuring adherence to FSSAI & IS standards.
  • Monitor supplier compliance and maintain plant hygiene.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to identify process corrections and eliminate deviations from quality standards.
  • Approve or reject products based on quality.
  • Maintain documentation for audit purposes.
  • Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure consistent production of high-quality food products.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by employees.
  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of quality control plans and processes.
  • Work with management to develop new quality control processes and procedures.
  • Evaluate quality inspectors' training and ensure they can carry out inspections effectively.
  • Maintain product quality levels.
  • Conduct internal and third-party audits.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Inspect final output and approve or reject products.
  • Evaluate that quality requirements are met by entities under the quality department's control.
  • Troubleshoot key quality concerns with online QC Executives and packaging checkers."

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-graduation degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience in managing team members.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation."
