Job Title: Marine Operations Coordinator

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Operations Associate located in Mumbai.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Marine Operations Coordinator will oversee daily operations of the fleet, coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • The coordinator will monitor daily noon reports/position reports and collect cargo documents from vessels at every load/discharge port.
  • Additionally, the coordinator will evaluate and analyse vessel performance in charterers performance format, prepare freight invoices, and assess demurrage claims as per the charter party.
  • The coordinator will also assist in preparing deck and engine logs after each voyage, which must be sent to charterers within stipulated time.
  • Further responsibilities include raising timely charter hire invoices, freight invoices, bunker reimbursement invoices, and demurrage invoices to charterers or brokers.
  • The coordinator will also support vessel Operation Superintendents in day-to-day work to ensure smooth operation of vessels.
  • Lastly, the coordinator will select, appoint, and approve agents' PDAs and FDAs.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential for this role.

Working Environment:
