A high-level database administrator with extensive experience in PostgreSQL is required to lead our team of experts.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in PostgreSQL internals, architecture, and tuning with a proven track record in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with HA and replication solutions, including Patroni and repmgr.
- Hands-on experience with PITR, disaster recovery, and cluster rebuilds.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and automation.
- Solid understanding of database security and compliance best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience handling critical incidents.
- Additional Requirements:
- Experience with AWS PostgreSQL services like RDS and Aurora.
- Experience with logical replication and foreign data wrappers.
- Familiarity with cloud-managed PostgreSQL services.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
As a secondary responsibility, you will also be expected to perform MySQL DBA tasks, including managing users, roles, and permissions, and setting up and troubleshooting replication.
