Job Title: Senior HVAC Design Lead

About the Role:

The Principal Engineer HVAC Design is responsible for leading the design of HVAC systems for healthcare facilities. This role involves providing technical input to studies and design, developing procedures, and participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as senior technical resource and advisor for the team.
  • Specialized Input: Provide technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
  • Procedure Development: Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
  • Project Review: Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
  • Estimation: Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Requirements:
  • Education: BE in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience working in Mechanical Engineering design, with a focus on HVAC systems for healthcare facilities.
  • Skills: Experience in energy modelling and analysis for optimising HVAC system performance in healthcare settings.
  • Certifications: Familiarity with relevant healthcare standards and regulations in the UK and UAE, such as HTM 03-01 and ASHRAE Standard 170.
  • Registration: Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Engineering Council UK or equivalent professional body.
