We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with deep technical expertise in data platform design, development, and maintenance.
You will work across the full data stack—from ingestion and transformation to orchestration and delivery—playing a key role in scaling analytics and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows.
- Develop transformation models using dbt and orchestrate pipelines via Airflow.
- Optimize large-scale processing jobs in Apache Spark.
- Tune and manage relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
- Architect and maintain schemas using Star Schema, 3NF, and SCD2 methodologies.
- Design and support lakehouse architectures and scalable storage solutions.
- Implement and enforce data governance, validation, and quality control mechanisms.
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT design.
- Strong experience with dbt, Airflow, and Spark.
- Deep understanding of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, 3NF, SCD2).
- Proven ability to optimize and tune PostgreSQL and Snowflake for performance.
- Familiarity with lakehouse architecture principles and tools.
- Solid experience in data governance, validation frameworks, and pipeline monitoring.
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Ansible).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with IaC tools and DevOps best practices.
