Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data acquisition pipelines in the Google Cloud Ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data acquisition pipelines for structured and unstructured data using tools such as Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC (Change Data Capture), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
  • Design and build complex datasets based on business requirements.
  • Construct 'big data' pipeline architecture and identify opportunities for data acquisition via collaboration with stakeholders and clients.
  • Translate business needs to technical requirements and leverage DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure the reliability and scalability of data pipelines.
  • Partition, cluster, and retrieve content in Big Query, and use IAM roles and policy tags to secure the data.
  • Design and build an ingestion pipeline using REST API and recommend ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Experience Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a GCP data engineering role.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in GCP tools including Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
