Leadership Opportunity in Programme Development

  • Oversee key programme areas, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with established goals.
  • Provide guidance to project teams to strengthen operational efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Engage with implementing agencies, knowledge partners, and peer organisations to strengthen programme outcomes.
  • Represent the organisation in external forums as required.
  • Offer mentoring support to mid-level team members to facilitate their growth into leadership roles.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment that values learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective systems for tracking progress, capturing lessons, and adapting strategies.
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and knowledge products.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, development studies, or public policy.
  • At least 12-15 years of experience in programme design, management, or evaluation within the development sector, including experience in leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to think strategically and translate plans into results.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural and social contexts.
