IK is looking for a talented UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. This role offers the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience with design systems and build solid UX & UI skills.

The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining design systems, supporting UI production, participating in user testing, and collaborating cross-functionally. They will also uphold accessibility standards and learn industry-standard tools and methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with design system maintenance: Update Figma components, tokens, and documentation under senior direction.
  • Support UI production: Create layout variations, states, and lightweight prototypes under senior guidance.
  • Participate in user testing: Observe usability sessions and assist in synthesizing findings for design iterations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Attend stand-ups and design critiques with product, engineering, and content teams.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree or certification in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, color, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools (coursework or personal projects acceptable).
  • Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
