Job Title: Legal Counsel

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive legal professional to manage all legal and compliance matters for our organization. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to independently manage a wide range of legal responsibilities and provide strategic legal advice to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and vet contracts, agreements, affidavits and applications.
  • Handle compliance-related work across corporate, real estate and regulatory matters.
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings, hearings and government offices when required.
  • Prepare and file applications, petitions and responses with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain organized legal records and case files.
  • Coordinate with senior advocates, external counsel and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws/regulations and keep management updated.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • At least 3 years of experience in litigation, compliance or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Strong drafting, research and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.
