Job Title: Treasury Manager

Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned treasury professional to oversee end-to-end treasury operations for multiple project entities.

The role will focus on daily cash management, debt servicing, banking operations, letter of credit and bank guarantee issuance, foreign exchange management, and supporting project finance and investment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily cash flow across various project entities and optimize fund utilization.
  • Facilitate the issuance of capital expenditure letters of credit and manage buyer's credit/supplier's credit arrangements.
  • Invest surplus funds in short-term debt mutual funds and fixed deposits.
  • Ensure timely interest and principal repayments for project loans.
  • Maintain accurate records of advance payments and performance bank guarantees received from vendors/bank guarantees issued to third parties.
  • Manage inter-corporate deposit issuance, limit monitoring, and documentation.
  • Ensure treasury accounting entries on a daily basis.
  • Manage foreign exchange hedging activities and related bank documentation.
  • Liaise with banks on operational matters and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Submit treasury-related details and respond to audit queries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly treasury MIS reports, including data on loans, interest payments, short-term investments, and hedging exposures.
  • Support new project financing activities and loan documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (accounts, projects, procurement) for efficient treasury operations.
Candidate Profile:

Required Qualifications:

MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant (CA), with strong academic credentials.

Required Experience:

5-8 years of experience in corporate treasury in mid to large organizations.

Desirable Experience:

Prior experience in infrastructure/renewable energy sector.

Skills:

Strong understanding of banking operations, treasury products, and financial instruments.

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and banks with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.

Proficiency in treasury software and SAP systems.
