Senior Financial Advisor - Technical Accounting

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Advisor - Technical Accounting to provide high-quality technical accounting advisory services. As a senior member of our team, you will work with clients to deliver complex accounting projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development;
  • Manage client relationships and build strong professional networks;
  • Project management; identifying key objectives and developing strategies for completion;
  • Provide technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues;
  • Conduct research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos;
  • Assist clients with the implementation of new accounting standards;
  • Assist clients with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements;
  • Review and analyse client financial information and provide recommendations for improvement;
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team;
  • Stay up to date on developments in accounting standards and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong domain, project management, business development, and people skills;
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts and stay informed of professional standards;
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours;
  • Integrity, values, principles, work ethic, and leadership skills.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs);
  • Experience of working in technical accounting/financial reporting;
  • 10+ Years of relevant experience.
