Financial Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analysis Specialist to perform Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, P&L reconciliation, and cash reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and operational efficiency for our hedge fund portfolios.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and review of daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations for hedge fund portfolios.
  • P&L reconciliation between fund administrator reports, internal records, and prime broker statements.
  • Cash reconciliation across custodians, banks, and internal systems.
  • Investigation and resolution of discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses.

Key Responsibilities also include supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals. Additionally, the individual will assist in performance reporting and investor statements, coordinate with fund administrators, prime brokers, and custodians to ensure accurate trade settlement and reporting, and collaborate with portfolio managers and risk teams to validate portfolio data and performance metrics.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, preferably with experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations. Strong understanding of financial instruments is essential, along with proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of fund accounting software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
