Remote L2 Network Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced L2 Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with Cisco Tetration to support our client's Data Center environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing level 2 operational support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Cisco Tetration platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Cisco Tetration.
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of Cisco Tetration components and sensors.
  • Support the implementation of application segmentation and micro-segmentation policies across the data center environment.
  • Analyze telemetry data to ensure network visibility, security posture, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and security teams to troubleshoot policy conflicts and application visibility issues.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 7–8 years of total experience in Network Engineering or IT Infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Tetration platform in operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of data center infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), and Linux operating systems.
