Cloud Engineer Position

Our company is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud deployment platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud architectures using GCP services such as GKE and Compute Engine
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and minimal downtime
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing and infrastructure
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on GCP
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
