Data Analyst for Pharmaceutical Marketing

Key Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive healthcare professional (HCP) audiences for direct-to-physician digital marketing campaigns
  • Analyze and manipulate data to inform audience construction and analysis
  • Coordinate audience creation processes, including submitting targeting requests, setup, and analyzing outputs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define audience criteria
  • Develop documentation for list generation processes and audience definition
  • Become proficient in Medscape's proprietary targeting capabilities, data tools, and product offerings
  • Partner with marketing and data teams to enhance audience segmentation strategies

Audience Targeting & Strategy

Main duties and responsibilities involve constructing HCP audiences, manipulating data, coordinating audience creation, collaborating with teams, developing documentation, becoming proficient in Medscape's proprietary targeting capabilities, and partnering with teams.

Job Description:

This role oversees end-to-end targeting processes and serves as the primary source of audience segmentation insights for marketing and other internal teams. You will be responsible for extracting, creating, segmenting, updating, and optimizing HCP audience lists used in our marketing engagement campaigns.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  2. 3+ years of experience in data/analytics, CRM analysis, marketing operations, or database marketing.
  3. Experience working with CRM systems, including Salesforce.
  4. Knowledge of Salesforce, YouTrack, or similar tools.
  5. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle a large volume of requests.
  6. Strong analytical skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, process-driven environments.
  8. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
