Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, modeling, and validation using software such as Star CCM+. This role requires strong analytical skills, preprocessing, geometry cleanup, meshing model extraction, boundary definition, flow setup, and data interpretation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations for fluid flow, heat transfer, and aerodynamics using Star-CCM+ software
  • Analyze fluid-thermal interactions, turbulence effects, and pressure distributions to optimize product design for efficiency and performance
  • Generate high-quality computational meshes using tools like Creo and Star CCM+ to ensure accurate simulation results
  • Interpret simulation results using visualization tools (ParaView, Tecplot, CFD-Post) and provide actionable design recommendations
  • Correlate CFD results with experimental data and physical testing to improve model accuracy and reliability
  • Work on conjugate heat transfer (CHT), multiphase flow, and fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems
  • Cross-functional collaboration with design engineers, thermal engineers, and testing teams to integrate CFD insights into product development
  • Ensure simulations comply with industry regulations such as ASME, ISO, or SAE standards
  • Prepare technical reports, design reviews, and presentations to communicate CFD findings and recommendations
