About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Business Manager to join our Sales and Distribution team at Ninjacart. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributors, and improving customer experience in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth and manage distributors in your assigned territory
  • Improve customer experience and retention
  • Explore new customers and channels for growth
  • Evaluate gaps at category level and work with the central team to bridge the same
  • Improve sales force effectiveness and on-time delivery
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to improve P&L for the assigned area
Team Management

You will lead, motivate, and support a team to successfully and strategically deliver on goals. You will be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing the team, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, and creating a team environment of continuous improvement and self-learning.

Requirements
  • 4-10 years of overall experience
  • Bachelor's Degree/MBA preferred in the relevant field
  • Distributor handling experience is a must
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and winning new business
  • Comfortable with extensive traveling
  • Preferred experiences from FMCG/FMCD/Telecom or companies with field sales structure (Startup experience is an additional advantage)
  • Intermediate skills in Excel (PIVOTS, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Local linguistic proficiency is mandatory (Tamil in this case)
