Inventory Manager Role Overview

The primary objective of this Inventory Manager role is to oversee day-to-day inventory operations, ensuring seamless management of stock receipt and issue processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Operations Management:
    • Ensure the accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of stock items.
    • Maintain proper storage and handling procedures for goods as per set standards.
    • Regularly update and maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
    • Conduct thorough physical stock verification and reconciliation processes.
  • Transaction Processing and Documentation:
    • Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) for received materials within SAP systems.
    • Manage Goods Issue transactions for timely stock issuance.
    • Document all stock movements within SAP, generating reports as required.
    • Coordinate with finance and procurement teams for compliant documentation.
  • Supply Chain Coordination and Support:
    • Timely and accurately issue raw materials and consumables to kitchen staff.
    • Coordinate with the kitchen team to manage inventory needs and prevent shortages.
    • Monitor stock consumption patterns, reporting discrepancies promptly.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Adhere to established inventory management policies and industry regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and storage guidelines.
    • Generate and analyze inventory reports to inform decision-making.
  • Communication and Liaison:
    • Establish effective communication channels with vendors, procurement teams, and internal departments.
    • Address and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues efficiently.
    • Assist in audits and inspections as necessary.
