Senior Software Engineer Position

This position entails working collaboratively with the product and design teams during the initial stages of project development. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for creating technical approaches to building features and breaking down complex tasks into manageable components.

  • Software engineers in this role will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug various software programs including databases, applications, tools, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work on high-impact projects across the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
  • Contribute to microservices and frontend development, testing, CI/CD, participating in scrum activities, and collaboration with Support, Product Management, and other Service Teams.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack software development.
  3. Expertise in multiple languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, Python.
  4. Experience building interfaces, including JSON REST APIs, GraphQL.
  5. Experience in front-end scripting, including Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, KnockoutJS.
  6. Experience in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  7. Experience with container-based deployment like Docker, Kubernetes.
  8. Additional skills in one or more of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  9. Experience with test frameworks like Postman/Newman, Junit, Enzym, Jest, Karma, Mocha, Chai, Puppeteer.
  10. Experience with distributed source control, including GIT.
  11. Experience with build tools such as Gradle, Maven, Webpack, Npm, Yarn.
  12. Experience with continuous deployment tools like Teamcity, Jenkins.
  13. Working experience within a Linux-based environment.
  14. Familiarity with log analysis tools and debugging tools.
