Job Opportunity for High-Performance EngineerWe are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and integrating device drivers for various devices on our high-performance platforms including Ethernet, I2C, PCIe, SPI, USB, and NAND devices.

You will work closely with hardware engineers in board bringup and interact with cross-functional teams to design high-performance, cost-effective solutions for storage and switching platforms.

Your expertise in real-time operating system concepts, multithreading, SMP, C, Linux driver programming, and kernel architecture will be valuable assets to our team.

In addition, your experience working with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, manufacturing, and product management, will enable you to make significant contributions to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate device drivers for various devices on our high-performance platforms.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers in board bringup and qualification through diagnostics packages.
  • Design and develop software solutions for high availability and redundancy.
  • Lead and mentor a team of high-performance engineers.
  • Interact with customers to gather requirements and ensure quality of deliverables.
Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE, CS, IT, or EEE.
  • 3+ years of work experience implementing device drivers and BSP.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of real-time operating system concepts, multithreading, SMP.
  • Strong knowledge of C, Linux driver programming, and kernel architecture.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Outstanding software debugging skills.
  • Experience using a full range of hardware test equipment like JTAG debuggers, I2C analyzers.
  • Solid understanding of Ethernet PHYs, PCIe, USB, SPI, NAND, I2C, and SDRAM.
  • Knowledge of Intel x86 architecture and BIOS/UEFI is a plus.
