Senior Firmware EngineerAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to lead firmware design and development for enterprise-class storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and customize controller firmware for storage systems, focusing on NAND Flash technologies (SLC, TLC, QLC).
  2. Contribute to modeling efforts for storage products from concept through production, ensuring high-quality solutions.
  3. Support device characterization, benchmarking, and performance optimization, collaborating closely with architecture, hardware, validation, and software teams.
  4. Debug and troubleshoot complex firmware issues across multiple layers, adhering to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in embedded firmware development, preferably in the storage domain (SSD/HDD).
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and assembly programming, with hands-on experience in storage interfaces: PCIe/NVMe, AHCI, SATA, SAS, UFS, eMMC.
  • Proven experience with firmware design, customization, and support, demonstrating strong analytical and abstract thinking ability with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with prior exposure to device drivers desirable.
