Job Description

We seek an experienced Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and understanding performance testing requirements. You will create load generation scripts using tools like JMeter, apply customizations as required, set up monitoring, capture results, generate performance test reports, and interact with stakeholders about error/issues faced effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create load generation scripts using JMeter.
  2. Apply customizations in scripts as needed.
  3. Setup monitoring and capture results.
  4. Generate performance test reports from collected data.
  5. Interact with stakeholders about error/issues encountered.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum experience of 3-5 years in performance testing with good hands-on knowledge of scripting using JMeter.
  • Well-versed in performance testing concepts, terminologies, and ready to deploy on assignments.
  • Ability to monitor servers and setup monitoring counters using tools like Perfmon, Azure Insights, Cloud Watch.
  • Proficiency in tools like Fiddler, Chrome Developer toolbar, and ability to analyze application traffic.
  • Preferred coding skills in Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of other performance testing tools is an added advantage.
  • Experience in performance testing over AWS and Azure cloud platforms is a bonus.
