Resource Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Optimization Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a resource management professional to utilize their skills and expertise in optimizing resource utilization, ensuring alignment between resource availability and project requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in managing resources across multiple projects and departments, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with department leads to identify current and future staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and manage resource utilization across multiple projects and departments, ensuring data accuracy in resource management systems.
  2. Maintain resource allocation records, identifying areas of inefficiency and suggesting improvements.
  3. Coordinate with department leads to identify current and future staffing needs, supporting forecasting and resolution of resource conflicts.
  4. Support in preparing reports on resource availability, usage, and performance metrics.
  5. Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of project resources, ensuring seamless transitions.
  6. Communicate regularly with project managers to understand staffing and capacity challenges, providing expert advice on resource optimization.
  7. Ensure alignment between resource availability and project requirements, contributing to successful project outcomes.
  8. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives in resource planning processes, driving efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ Years of Experience in Resource Management
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and resource management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SAP, MS Project, D365).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
