Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

A prestigious opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our organization.
About the Role- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and reports to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
- Perform meticulous data-level validations, including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations, to ensure data accuracy.
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, to execute data validation, leveraging expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Design and optimize SQL queries for testing large datasets, applying in-depth knowledge of database management systems to streamline processes.
- Automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow, BigQuery, and SQL, reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency.
- Monitor GCP cloud logs and construct dashboards to provide real-time insights into system performance.
- Identify, log, and track defects, providing regular status updates on execution/validation progress to stakeholders.
- Manage defect triage with various teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in QA engineering.
- Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery.
- Excellent data validation skills, including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with automation tools like Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow, BigQuery, and SQL.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
